Langham Jakarta
The Langham, Jakarta stands as an epitome of refined luxury in the heart of the Sudirman Central Business District. Drawing inspiration from classical European design, the hotel's interiors seamlessly blend opulence with urban sophistication. The design incorporates traditional Langham elements, such as white paneling and symmetrical proportions, while introducing contemporary touches to cater to Jakarta's discerning clientele. Notable features include a striking chandelier in the lobby, crafted from 3,000 fluttering crystal butterflies, symbolising the city's vibrant energy. The integration of Indonesian art and craftsmanship further enriches the hotel's ambiance, offering guests an immersive cultural experience. Jesé Medina-Suárez contributed to project documentation and construction while at Smallwood.
